This place is clearly better.
The people are very friendly and better then lots of the PETSMART's located in Savannah, GA that everybody seems to say is so much better even when their supply of fish have ICH and they don't seem to care.
Fish World and Pet Shop is an amazing store. After going to many fish stores to look for a place I can depend on while getting back into the hobby, none came even remotely close to the level of care and attention brought by John and his staff. Everyone that works there is very professional and knowledgeable.
Very friendly staff. Very knowledgeable. Very good quality fish, great selection of fish and products for your fish. I recommend over any big chain pet store if you're looking for fish.

I'm pretty positive this place should be shut down as I'm well aware of the laws for exotic animals in pet stores and the way they need to be maintained.
I absolutely love this place. I go here on the regular to buy frozen food for my fish. (I have a 55 GAL.) They are very helpful with any questions you would ever have, a great selection of supplies for your tank and if there is something specific you are looking for they can even order it for you sometimes.
Go see John if you need an aquarium, or stop by the store for great deals and rare finds.

The two people working were rude when I attempted to ask questions, the owner didn't bother to get up when I asked where things where. And I've seen comments on bad reviews saying they would take "legal" action against people. Which is ridiculous....
If you're a reptilian lover like me, you know what we'll cared for reptiles look like.
This store sells chameleons, a very hard to care for reptile. They keep them in glass tanks, which any semi intelligent reptile owner knows that stagnant air makes chameleons I'll and they need at least two mesh sides to their tank as well as a specialty humidifier unless you plan to do it yourself every three hours including overnight. The birds are kept in tanks much too small. The "coral" is sad. Seriously sad. It looks like a beginner tank gone horribly horribly wrong. Anyone who knows even a little tiny bit about animals should be able to take one look around this store and know something it horribly wrong. You can see rat traps hidden in corners as well.
Walked in, walked right out. Went in looking for anything saltwater, seen dirty tanks, only 2 fish, and a lack of supplies. Didn't look at the freshwater selection because after looking at their saltwater stock i knew i was going to be disappointing. Plus is smelled like sour butt inside....
