My son (1 years old) was having an asthma attack. It was too far to go to Savannah. Since this hospital is a hop and a skip from me I went here. I should have known this was bad news. They don't have a children's ward. The attitude of the staff is unrealistic. They treated me and my child with very little respect. I've been here dozens of times because of my son and husband. I wish they would revamp the entire ER staff. One nurse there is so rude, someone is going to punch her eventually. Her sarcasims is totally uncalled for. If she doesn't want to work she shouldn't be there. I kept my composer the entire time because my son needed the help. If I had responded to her with the attitude she had given me, she would've called the police. The ER is a place for sick people no one wants her nasty attitude. My son ended up spending 2 days there, med surge staff was oh kay, the ER staff is an entirely different chapter. Not happy with them at all.

Currently went to this hospital today, my children and I have been seen here on multiple occasions. I also had both of my 2 younger children in this hospital. Labor and delivery staff were always polite and professional. On the other hand the ER nurses (Not all) but some and one particularly on this visit was extremely rude, very unpleasant and not professional at all. The lady was not even our nurse. I didn't see this nurse anywhere the entire time we were there until we were discharged and leaving out. I don't know whether she was just having a bad day or what but regardless when your at work you should have some kind of self control and the words you choose to use and the manner you choose to use them because your attitude (being loud, huffing) can either help you or hurt you and the establishment you work for when it comes to serving customers/patients/clients. Think before you speak! Totally unacceptable! Contacted the Director of this establishment and left a message to be contacted back, waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully they will hold a mandatory meeting, some of these nurses need to be refreshed on customer satisfaction, manners and how important it is to leave your attitude at home when you enter the work place! Respect and professionalism is very much needed with this nurse! Changing your tone of voice would be a great start!

My sister had her baby here and it wasn't the best experience I've encountered. A few nurses were very pleasant but they have some that are horrible with bad attitudes. I also saw some in other areas on their phones and playing games on the computer as if they don't have nothing to do at all. They especially need help at night with labor and delivery and they completely lie about a nursery because they don't have one. I pray they build a newer hospital and hire people who really love their job because if not everyone is going to go to Savannah to deliver their baby. Please do better and remember it's not about you. It's about taking care of your patient and making them feel good while they are in your care. Also they didn't give us anything to take home for our baby in reference to milk. The nurse got smart with my sister when we asked. Smh!

Poor etiquette, poor taste, judgemental, and unprofessional staff and doctors. Doctors were also impolite, arrogant, too self assured, AND 2 have had a mentality of superiority. When I refused to put one female doctor on a pedistol she reported me to child protective services using false claims after an exchange of words. I beat the case since they clearly saw through her disgusting prejudice and the misuse of her authority.

I've been here a few times with both my children, most recently my sick 2 month old baby. I always get top notch care from nurses, technicians, and providers. I am an experienced, active Registered Nurse and give them 2 thumbs up. It is a small hospital and very personal compared to the large hospitals I work at, where the patient is merely a number.
